For whatever reason, Trump has Priebus as his CoS — and Priebus in turn is bringing in all kinds of GOPe/uniparty appointments. Acosta is an example of that—so it is still going on.

As a rule of thumb, Trump’s nominations that cause an uproar are home runs. Those that lead to accolades are IMO suspect.
Okay, maybe he should appoint Milo Yiannopoulos to be his National Security Advisor. That’d show ‘em all. We don’t need professionals who bucked the system and paid their dues!
