It is not the dam itself that is the problem, it is the area to the left of the dam where the spillway and emergency spillway are, that are being undercut. I have not been able to see the latest pictures of the area but it was getting bad before the weekend.

They must think there could be a problem, because they have called up some of the National Guard and have the rest on emergency standby. The fact that they have done that plus created a no fly zone, tells me they are very worried.
