I come from thinking that you didn’t ask for help from the government... for that was a sure way to be told what to do and how to do it. I also come from a place where no one wanted to be on welfare if there was ANY other way .. find it and live independently of assistance. I come from a place where you didn’t ask parents to pay your way... you get a job, do for yourself.. and live within your means... also, don’t make stupid mistakes that would change your life and keep you from getting ahead.

I know there are those who need help, but today there doesn’t seem to be any hesitation from taking whatever the government has to offer... food stamps... welfare.. anything.. there doesn’t seem to be any stigma to go that route any more...

When immigrants come here and are given all the government has for them.. they must think it’s the norm and they hit the jackpot... and want it to continue all their lives.. even write home to others in their country.. hey, come here... they give you everything.. it must be something that would be hard to give up, when a new President changes what is free.

I just object to giving unlimited help to those who come here and those who live here and still take from the government. The money comes from the working folks... it’s not free!

When immigrants came here years ago, they had to have a job already, a place to stay and a sponsor... it was not a free ride... just since the dems want their votes is it free.

And it isn’t hard hearted to want immigrants to pay their way... no free lunch... they have to work and/or pay for what they need.. otherwise, don’t come.
