This guy and his ilk are not very professional; they are partisan hacks. Too many people like him still lingering around. If you can’t serve the country and the American people and you can’t do the mission because of your ideology, then you need to do something else.
This may be classified as “self-induced elimination”. Something very Darwinian is going on, when these sorts of personalities start weeding themselves out.
