Homo vs hetero is not the whole point. It isn't even remotely important here, even if it is important elsewhere in life, and I agree it is important.
This is not a skirmish in the culture war, it is team sports and the anti-trump elements of American society will find any wedge issue to scuttle dissent. It matters not what that issue is, it only matters that there is an issue to wedge and weaken, and if you accept their premise, you have to accept their conclusions... And their conclusions are you lose. I understand the hesitancy to avoid addressing values and culture as important, but it is what the left has pinned us down with for years and if we have a chance to win against the tactics, we have to avoid their traps. Romney tried to play the good guy in this play in 2012, and he was cast as a demon with the 'war on women' slur. If your only motivation for involvement in politics is to keep the homos out, it makes sense to disavow Milo. However if your motivation is to combat statistics and supporting the statist machine, I would encourage a good strong rum.
