For three hours, lawmakers debated whether Britain should rescind its offer of a state dinner to the U.S. president.
The lawmakers don’t have the power to force the government to cancel the dinner, and there was no binding vote. But the event still drew plenty of public attention. During the proceedings, thousands of anti-Trump protesters rallied outside of Parliament. At times, their chants could be heard within the debating chamber.

Other countries don’t know our business... they have to have gotten the sad news that Trump is so awful... from the news media here... obama was an embarrassment.. they forget how bad it was with him in that office!

Spicer is not doing it enough.. though he is on a long time. But he takes questions... we need someone who will give a briefing every day to explain what is going on and what is new.. what has been reported that is wrong and correct every single item. And not let the media take a story and run with it for a few days before anyone is on top of it.. it has legs by then..
What everyone is hearing is from the left.. we have to have someone who will tell what Trump is doing every day that is good... He has accomplished a lot, but it is not being reported to the public.. they are hell bent on impeachment... we have to have someone who can clear the air and let them know there are NO grounds for such.
Today, they were protesting in the streets... and everything they said they were protesting, was a lie. Trump is doing none of those things.
For instance, someone needs to tell them that obamacare was imploding... that insurance companies are leaving obamacare.. that the prices went up.. double and triple.. just before the election and that is another reason the dems lost... they don’t know that.. they don’t have insurance and don’t know that the deductible was too high to count.. that it was falling apart and Trump is trying to save insurance for the people.. not take it away.. they don’t know that!! They are being told the opposite.
Someone get on Fox and talk... just tell what is good... don’t have a dem on there to be ‘fair and balanced’... just tell the public what they don’t know. It would be a hit hour if they did that. For God’s sake, we can’t just sit and do nothing about all the lies and distortions going on in the name of the democratic hope of regaining the power they had .. to destroy us all.

Most of them quoted fake news verbatim. This is why fake news is a danger to our country. Foreign leaders believe the lies in print and on the cable networks and make decisions that affect our country based on those lies.
this is the internet age, supplanting the telephone age, supplanting the telegram age. trump is the figurehead and there is no reason to go if there is not some sort of public relations coup— they could just defer until it becomes more apparent to the public who the guys in the white hats are. then they will welcome trump properly and allow him into parliament. going before that point is reached is a waste of time and could be used as propaganda against both trump and may.
