I’ll repeat it one more time:
White was one of the original dissenters in Roe vs. Wade”
Gorsuch clerked for White. Gorsuch was a friend of Scalia.
Gorsuch was endorsed by a long list of conservative originalists. He has a long track record as a judge and you can’t point to a single liberal decision.
None of which neutralizes the facts regarding the nature of the “church” and abomination-inclusive “pastor” Gorsuch CHOSE to put his family under the purview of.
And, Scalia stated publicly that Ruth Bader Ginsburg was his closest friend on the Supreme Court.
Re: “Gorsuch has a long track record as a judge and you cant point to a single liberal decision.”
I read through that entire record this morning. I agree with you.
On the other hand, Gorsuch reminds me of John Roberts.
Every Republican president since Eisenhower has appointed at least one politically squishy Justice who starts moving to the center-left after confirmation.
The Democrats almost never make the opposite mistake.
I'm not familiar with the Truman and Roosevelt nomination record. But Byron White was the only Democrat “mistake” in the last 55 years.
