Blacks enjoy having their own subculture, in music, in language, in art, and other things. Which is perfectly fine. A lot of great music was created by blacks not playing "white" music, but developing their own, as an example.
If this center forced whites to speak ebonics, the only thing that would happen is that blacks would abandon ebonics and do something else, because the whole point of ebonics is to have some distinct to themselves. The center needs to quit "fixing" things that aren't broken.
When he was growing up in the 1940s, he and his friends spoke in jive, or hip-hop, or whatever slang was called at the time.
