Psychiatrists debate on whether or not Donald Trump is mentally ill

On Tuesday, American psychiatrists, psychologist, and mental health experts signed a letter warning about Trump's mental health. They believe that Trumps' emotional instability is reflected in his speeches and actions, and therefore he is not capable of serving safely as a president.

A lot of people have questioned President Trump' mental health. The concern has even gotten to the Congress, where representatives have considered proposing legislation that would require a psychiatrist in the White House. As well, NGOs, such as Change.org, have started petitions to remove Trump from the office given his mental condition.

Trump is a narcissist and a paranoid

Despite the self-imposed ethic rules that forbids psychiatrists from offering professional opinion regarding public figures they have not personally analyzed, a group of mental health experts - including psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers - have gotten together to sign the letter, which intended to warn about the viability of Trump as a president because of his apparent mental health problems. The experts also called for a full medical and neuropsychiatric evaluation by impartial investigators.

This is not the first time that Trump's mental stability has been put into question.

This is ridiculous.

That's right. Trump exhibits no diagnosable mental illness or impairment. I've seen lots of people over the years and to me Trump is a normal somewhat boisterous alpha male who is self assured, was mad as hell about where the country was going, and, unlike us, had the means, personality and gumption to actually do something about it.

If I had to be picky I would say Trump has some narcissistic traits and is a little bit ocd, but well within normal limits. So are a lot of us. Got him where he is. Trump paranoid? Are they kidding? A lot of people in real time are trying to destroy him. Does he have a sense of this and is trying to combat it? Sure. That's not paranoid. That's reality. So far, Trump is doing a great job of fighting back.

Rather than criticizing Trump, my fellow shrinks should be analyzing what an amazing person Trump is. The drive, the stamina, his intelligence, street savvy, no alcohol or drug history, his family, his empathy for Americans, his financial success and now he's President. Are they jealous and because they're all libs, have to tear him down?

Where were they when Obama was exhibiting his obvious malignant narcissism? I was always concerned his narcissistic rage would do the country in. He tried hard, but we're still here. His Organizing for America is still a manifestation of his hatred for America.

Bottom line, imo, Trump is certainly well within normal limits, is a likable guy and doing a great job as President. Would love to have lunch and a beer with him. I have no mental health concerns about President Trump.

Thanks Trisham. I might add I've never had the vibe Trump had any psych problem, even way back during the Apprentice or other news events involving Trump, going back to the 80s. I had that red flag vibe right off the bat with Obama.

It’s a perfectly reasonable and spontaneous uprising of giant vaginas.

Being as there's been threat made to 'grab back' (an interesting possibility, that) it's a good thing you didn't say spontaneous eruptive flow of...uh...the giants.

It's not gone that far. yet. I mean, in a positively pleasing sort of "way"...
