Allegations don’t make a case. There may not have been enough hard evidence to convict him.

Epstein is worth a lot of money and could afford the lawyers to get him off. It’s what they do. He may have walked without serving any time if for not striking a plea deal.

I won’t bash him without having more facts.

They convicted him in a state court over what definitely should have been a Federal prosecution. They had the evidence. The Feds bowed out under Acosta. Or, more likely, he was given an offer he couldn’t refuse.
