If one likes neo-cons, then Bolton is the man. I remember a while ago, he had an op-ed in the Wall St. Journal in which he was arguing strenuously for a pre-emptive air strike by the US against Iran - knock out their nuclear facilities, air force, etc.
Sorry, but you would not do that ? Allowing Iran nukes is a death sentence to millions.
Bolton wants to send US troops to fight everybody. He is the king of foreign intervention for no good reason, certainly nothing that benefits the US.
