Though it comes from a Christian text, I see nothing in that Godly prayer to offend anyone of genuine faith, or follower of any world religion. I certainly can’t imagine why any Jew would be offended by the reading of it. I know I wasn’t. In fact, I was deeply moved. A wonderful profound moment. I hope she does it again.
Jesus, who revealed “The Lord’s Prayer” was a Jew. All of the twelve apostles were Jews too. Almost all of the people who heard Jesus preach would have been Jews.
