I attended a NASA contractor event on the Monday after 9-11. It was held at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany NY.

There were probably 350 people in attendance, including NASA employees, dignitaries, NYS politicians, and contractors.

All were present at the "luncheon," which was held in a huge ballroom. There were the usual speakers.

Here's the thing. The head NASA guy, who was pretty high up, did the "keynote speech." And the very first thing he did was ask everyone to stand up, and bow their heads in prayer. He then proceeded to recite The Lord's Prayer, and you know what? Everyone in that room prayed along with him! I could hear the people at my table, and around me, reciting along with him.

And no one said boo in complaint. No one. Not a single voiced a single word in objection.

It's interesting and edifying to know we still have a prayer most Americans can stand a recite together.

Unfortunately, our precious country has fallen far since 9-11. I put a majority of blame on nobama and his lackeys.
