Yes he did, or he would not have renounced it.
To have US citizenship he has to have a CRBA or naturalization papers, we have only seen his Canadian birth certificate.
Why doesn’t he show us proof of his US citizenship?

He never had any Canadian citizenship. He found out he was a Canuk when he was a high school student.
He renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2014.
