I am sorry about the situation with you daughter. One of my sisters was like that. My mother had to put up with a lot of trouble like you are. Luckily for me, I was in the Air Force and stationed far away for most of my career so didn’t get to witness most of it.
The sad part is she (this particular sister—I have five) had two kids and screwed up their lives beyond repair. And then accused my mother of being a “horrible parent”.
My sister died of a drug overdoes not long after I retired. Her kids—my niece and nephew? Estranged from the family. I finally found them on Facebook. I don’t use Facebook and really dislike it, but it is a great place to find people. Anyway, I talked to them both. My niece has had several children but lost them all to the state due to her drug addictions—it’s pretty sad. My nephew is out in Oregon trying to straighten out his life and doing a pretty good job. I talk to him on the phone at least once a month.
Crazy people have a way of hurting those around them—sometimes for generations.
Bad things happen to good people. I get that.
But the really awful thing about this nonsense with my daughter is the gubmint keeps getting involved!
I am finding out that there are a lot of people out there, loser-burgers who can only get what they perceive to be attention and affection by faking some tragedy/sickness.
Starting soon I am going to begin my vindication tour.
For now I sure hope they don’t destroy the most precious thing I have...my granddaughter.
I say “they” because I include the gubmint as part of this cabal.
And daughter knows how to use them, yes she does.
Many of the big wigs working on the "obama" seventh floor of the state dept. were told their services were no longer needed by Rex Tillerson's aides recently.

While Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is on his first trip overseas, he had his close aides fire staff at the State Department on Thursday.
Much of seventh-floor staff, who work for the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources and the Counselor offices, were told today that their services were no longer needed.
However, those who work on the seventh-floor are no ordinary employees.
That’s because the “7th floor” is known as the home to powerful, high-ranking State Department officials who did everything in their power to shield Hillary Clinton from justice. As the NY Post reported last October:
“The FBI released the summary of an interview that revealed a cabal at State that oversaw the email release — a “powerful group of very high-ranking STATE officials that some referred to as ‘The 7th Floor Group’ or as ‘The Shadow Government.’ This group met every Wednesday afternoon to discuss . . . everything CLINTON-related to FOIA/Congressional inquiries.'”
“Imagine officials high in the George W. Bush administration calling themelves ‘the Shadow Government’ as they oversaw a supposedly nonpartisan release of documents that could sink the White House hopes of its former boss,” the Post concluded.
