The “press” deserves every single bit of what they are getting from Trump and more. Just look at what they did during the presidential campaign for starters ..... the “press” took it upon themselves to knock Trump out of the race. When that didn’t work, they were 99.9% behind Hillary ALL THE WAY. They campaigned for her, hid anything negative and were cheerleading her candidacy at every opportunity. Anything negative regarding all things Hilly was shoved into the darkest hole they could find while anything, the least little thing, they could dig up about Trump had a spotlight put on it. Trump is absolutely justified in pounding them into the sand & Americans are justified in not believe a word the “press” has to say. They ARE the opposition party to the man “we the people” elected as our president and in my opinion, they should be treated as the enemedia.
On the topic of Trump somehow limiting free speech by what he is doing to the press .... how about their limiting free speech/expression by NOT reporting on the “other side” - anything conservative, anything religious (like persecution), anything positive from Trump - for the most part it wasn’t published/reported on and if it was, it was a very minor mention or back page. THAT is limiting the free speech of those the press has CHOSEN not to like and report because it doesn’t conform to their liberal agenda.
The ONLY way the press can work themselves out of this SELF-INFLICTED situation they find themselves in is to report fairly and accurately on the Trump administration. Don’t fall down laughing ..... we all know they don’t have it in them to do this ..... they are rabid libtards, totally compromised and eaten up with their own sense of importance. Again, they deserve everything Trump dishes out & unless it comes from Trump himself, I don’t believe a word I’m hearing from the media and that includes FOX ... with perhaps the exception of Catherine Herridge.

No, but it is a great opportunity for a "cottage industry" of REAL-news providers to arise, and completely discredit and displace the useless RATagandists.
The public should NEVER trust the press. Even Ben Franklin used "fake news" to advance a policy agenda. It's the people who need to adjust, not the press. The people need to realize that when somebody says "trust me," that is a sign the person is not trustworthy. When the claim is that honesty and integrity are ethical obligations, same reaction. Courts are supposed to apply the law, but when the stakes are high enough, they ignore it or make it up.

Next week on Full Measure, Sharyl Attkisson has a report on “Fake News”. If anybody was hacked by the Russians it was the “state controlled media” and how they were manipulated to adversely affect Hildabeast.
