The Talk Shows
Feb 19th, 2017
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): White House chief of staff Reince Priebus; conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Priebus; Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Reps. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and Elijah Cummings, D-Md.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.; Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif; retired Vice Adm. Robert Harward.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Gov. John Kasich, R-Ohio; Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J.; James Jones, former President Barack Obama's first national security adviser. (Note: No Trump Admin types. CNN=VERY Fake news!)
Trump is trying to defend himself from attacks by the media and opposition party also within the media. Trump is trying to prevent damage from people out to destroy the agenda he promised. This is a war where both sides will be damaged.
The media seems to be losing because their party has been losing election after election.
MCCain or Graham one voted against Pruitt.
Have to agree with you Bray. Rush and Laura seem to have done a 180 re President Trump.
OMB Rand Paul read John McCain the riot act, he positively toasted the man!
Said that John McCain’s method of toppling bad regimes across the world has not worked, that if John McCain had his way America would go bankrupt just buying weapons of war.
Rand Paul said McCain is just angry at Trump’s victory and on and on....kudos to Rand Paul.
Yeah, I don’t like John McCain but I see some other Senators don’t like him either.
Haha...I like that description...unfortunately the circus has gotten out of control

If not Lippmann, somebody would have gotten around to it. Manipulating the public is an age-old goal, and many different means have been used toward that end.
Still, let’s not forget 2006 and 2008. We really dropped the torch during those years.
It goes back to five primary things, in my opinion:
1. Dubya not defending himself.
2. Weapons Of Mass Destruction. Didn’t harp on the ones we actually found, never defended the falsehood they weren’t there.
3. Dubya and the Chamber of Commerce Republicans “Cheap Labor Express” and their love of illegal alien workers.
4. Puff the Magic Negro. Hey, every shamed whitey needed to prove they weren’t racist!
5. RINO Candidates. If we wanted a democrat, we could just vote for them directly, no?
Rush on Fox New Sunday this morning:

And I’m done for a while, beautiful day, going outside to plant potatoes!
I just saw the CBS logo for "Face the Nation"...it said the words: "Real News".
Heh heh heh.
Finally Trump fights back against the opposition party.
He is being attacked and is simply fighting back. The media is coming across as being desperate and weak. It seems Trump is more believable than the left controlled media.
The blind is leading the blind in the media. The people who voted for Trump are offended by their biased coverage.
Sorry bray....I never miss Rush. He was never anti Trump. My sister who was a huge Cruz supporter quit listening to him because he was siding with Trump. Rush knew early on it was going to be Cruz or Trump and he sensed the ground swell support for Trump before any of us.
I also agree.
I'd like to see Trump bring him back out, on camera in front of a large audience, with a high-five hand-grip heralding him as a hero....with Flynn having participated in a "deep state" sting operation to out bureaucRAT leakers and prestitute traitors.

That these two are the primary GOP Senate faces seen on Sunday talk shows is an example of McConnells failed leadership. There are 50 other GOP Senators that Mitch should be making available and tell these two quite quislings to take Sunday’s off.
I didn’t want to fight with Bray because he’s a great writer and patriot.
But I am so glad you said this.
I concede that Rush seemed to be leaning to Cruz but Rush is a professional. His bias is rarely shown in cases like this, especially a Republican primary.
I wouldn’t say he was in love with Trump at the beginning but he was never anti-Trump like, say, Mark Levin.
Distinct difference between the two as regards their treatment of Trump.
Mark Levin is sure having trouble eating crow, while I’m at it.
The more he tweets the more fake news they excrete. They can't compete. Fun to watch their frustration and lamentations, the president exposes the MSM simultaneously triggering a self destructive feedback loop. Magic or MAGA? probably both.
Every tweet Trump develops further his complex relationship with his followers as we weave together our understanding of how the government is functioning, what the culture zeitgeist is and how he is enacting change toward MAGA.
Well said.
I get a good portion of my news these days from foreign news sources.
Only reason McCain gets away with this is weak leadership of Mitch McConnell. Had Mitch been a strong leader he would tell McCain only once to knock off the crap or else! McCain would know he meant it! Mitch can do lots if things to punish McCain including stripping him of his Chairmanship of the Armed Forces Committee!
Of course they do. I don't think it is any secret that we monitor the Russian Embassy communications 24/7. They do the same thing to us. It doesn't matter if it is telephone, fax, signal, etc. Flynn knows it better than anyone having been the head of DIA. The point of the article is why did the FBI interview/investigate him given the law.
Still and so, Flynn was evidently asked by Pence if he said anything on that call about sanctions and Flynn said No. Im thinking Flynn probably didnt think a tossed-aside comment such as they would deal with it after the inauguration was worth mention. I dont know this and somewhere there is a tape of this conversation. But Flynn does not strike me as a blatant liar.
Without knowing all the facts like Trump and Pence do, I can't comment on whether Flynn was a "blatant liar." However, it seems he didn't tell the entire story for whatever reason. He may have been trying to cover up for his boss given the the way the sanction issue was being covered by the MSM. He may not have known that the MSM had sources that had seen the transcripts.
Obama set this up by demanding a report from the intel community on the Russian interference in our elections and making sure the report was issued prior to his leaving office. He imposed the sanctions a few weeks before the inaugural ensuring that Trump was left a land mine in his desire to establish a better relationship with the Russians. In addition, Obama issued an executive order a few weeks before allowing a wider dissemination of NSA wire taps, etc. This allowed the Flynn conversation to be given to a wide variety of agencies and embedded Trump supporters like Acting AG Yates. The MSM was provided the information by these people. It was an orchestrated hit job.
Schrödinger's cat applies. Until we see the actual transcripts of the conversations, we can hold many interpretations of what was said. The FBI has concluded that no laws were violated, including the over 200 year old Logan Act.
So given that its all been explained, and your article as linked does a very good job, I still dont know why Trump cant stand up tall and say his incoming administration was buffaloed and theyre not throwing out a perfectly fine guy to give them a victory.
We will just agree to disagree. You can't unring a bell. And we don't have all the information that Trump and Pence have.
Rinse called it, Wallass is going banana’s
