Elderberry Recipe.

We buy our dried elderberries from San Francisco herb co. You can also use fresh ones if available. I buy more than I use as they store a long time.

Use the most inexpensive 80 proof vodka you can find.

Very important, try to squeeze out every last drop of tincture from the straining bag. If you don't use food prep gloves to do this you main have a temporary staining of the hands.

Store any extra dried elderberries in a plastic bag in the garage as they have a very strong odor.

Any questions, fire away!

Thank so much, Ray!! Will print out and keep in my EO/natural meds recipe book.

I can attest to the efficacy of the elderberries....as I’ve been taking 1T syrup 3xday for two days....and feel MUCH better, today :)

You can order the dried berries, in bulk, at Vitacost..fyi.
