wow. I never knew designers PAID entertainers to wear their gowns.
Over the years I have enjoyed Meryl Streeps work. She is NOT a beauty by any means but did put in some good performances
Now she is just too full of herself and her BELIEF of her importance in being a messenger.
Too bad. We Americans like humility. DJT reflects what we love. He is wealthy and powerful but can still relate.
Actors are way over paid for their work, until they are willing to share a good % of their earnings with the masses they need to shut up.
They are so out of touch with we the people and I’m sick to death of being lectured by those who know nothing of our struggles.
Like you said, Trump does understand and get it in spite of his $$$$$.
Love this:
I don’t know if designers pay celebs to wear their gowns and tuxedos or not. I always thought it was “free advertising” for the designer when they were interviewed on the red carpet and mentioned the designers name as well as photos later in People and other mags and on line.
I’m wondering if Ms. Streep is so full of herself that she felt she was “owed” $$s to wear the gown. I won’t be watching the Oscars tomorrow night, but may watch the red carpet (usually on the E! channel) prior to. It will be interesting to see what she ends up wearing.
You are so right about DJT!

Pride comes before the fall.
