Could it really be true John Kerry vs. Elizabeth Warren for the Democrat presidential nomination in 2020?
All Massachusetts, all nursing home, all the time.
In case you missed it, Americas Gigolo was named this week as an Extinguished, er, Distinguished Fellow for Global Affairs at Yale. For some unknown reason (a joke perhaps?), a reporter asked Mr. Teresa Heinz whether he would be running for president in three years.
I havent ruled anything in, he said, or anything out.
Consider yourself warned or maybe threatened.
We already knew the fake Indian is planning to toss her war bonnet into the ring. Shes got a new book coming out. According to the publicity sheet, Fauxchahontas grew up on the ragged edge of the middle class.
Ragged edge? Funny, when she was on the electoral warpath for the first time in 2012, her cheerleaders at the Globe made a point of stressing how she grew up on the jagged edge of the middle class.
Jagged, ragged no matter how you slice it, as the old joke goes, its still baloney.
Warren vs. Kerry it would be one for the ages, or should I say, the aged. In 2020, the nattering nabob of Naushon will be 77, and the Fake Indian will be 70.
Of course, other candidates may emerge. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, for one. Hell be 78. Then theres Gov. Brown of California, who at the age of 81 could put the Jerry back into this geriatric field of candidates.
It might come down to endorsements from the nations leading Democrats. For instance, Nancy Pelosi. She has so much in common with all of the above. Shell be 79 as the campaign starts.
With that field, look for a lot of early-bird debates. Dont know yet where the convention will be, but Marian Manor in Southie might be an appropriate venue. Or, for the finish of this impending horse race, a glue factory.
The fun around here would be watching Kerry vs. Warren. Theyre so very different. Granny Warren checks the box. Liveshot checks the purse. Lieawatha will be working the cheese shops and the faculty lounges, while Liveshot campaigns at polo matches and regattas.
But really, what would these two legends in their own minds be doing if theyre not running for president? For Fauxchahontas, I dont think that chair in Native-American studies is still in the cards. As for Liveshot, there arent too many seventy-something gigolos plying their trade out there.
In the early years of the Republic, Virginia was known as the Mother of Presidents. These days, Massachusetts is the Mothers of Presidential Losers.
Ted Kennedy in 80, Mike Dukakis in 88, Paul Tsongas in 92, Kerry in 04 when elections are lost, Massachusetts Democrats will lose them.
Chief Spreading Bull has never run for national office before, but even at this early date, shes beginning to have loser written all over her. In a poll this week, she trailed President Trump 42-36, while Generic Democrat defeated the incumbent, 43-35.
Those are Dukakis-type numbers, already. Although come to think of it, why shouldnt the henpecked wimp jump into the fight too? Actually, hes better prepared than either Warren or Kerry.
When the 2020 campaign starts, the Duke will be 86. Perfect for the modern Democrat party.
I love all the nick names Howie has for Lizzie. Chief Spreading Bull, my favorite!
Mockery is a powerful weapon.
Alinski rule #5
chief lizzie two testicals
May I suggest Keith Ellison? He is a fine Democrat.
The Marxists party will probably pick Kamala Harris. You know her from the WWF.
Oh, sorry, the CA AG.
5.56mm
The man LIED to Congress for Heaven's sake! He is a LIAR and a turncoat.
Dems will probably just issue Obama a new fake name, gender and birth certificate and run him again.
ROTFLMAO!!
It's going to be everybody in the pool next time, though, to keep Hillary out.
So Liz Warren? Sure. She'll run.
Unless she loses her seat. Which won't happen.
What a joke Yale is becoming.

History repeats: another French & Indian War
Snort, guffaw...
THe oldest candidate with a real chance were Bob Dole (73), and John McCain (72). If you include Bernie, he was 75.
Hill and Trump are/would have been the oldest first-term presidents ever. By a couple years except for Reagan.

Good one!
