I’m beginning to think that the whole Flynn flap and asking him to resign was a way to get to the really BIG question, i.e., leaks of classified information. Now, having forced the NSA to resign due to leaks, it’s perfectly appropriate to conduct the fullest investigation possible, using all means at the disposal of President Trump and his Administration. And I think Flynn himself was in on it.

I think Flynn might have had a conflict of interest after it was discovered that the NSA illegally tapped his phone and then leaked it to the press.
Now that he is no longer the head of the NSA, he can sue the NSA and the federal government for invasion of privacy. He can also sue the newspapers and media that printed it.
Maybe that’s the reason he resigned.
