The last corporation I worked for...when they fired someone they showed up at their desk, watched them pack their stuff up, and then walked them to the front door. I hope that is what they did. lol
I hope that they escorted them out of the building without they’re having the opportunity to shred or wipe.

If Tillerson was serious, then that’s exactly what they did. I worked in HR, and when someone is let go, Security appears at the desk with an empty file box and basically says, “Pack up your shit.” Security watches the employee every second because one or two simple keystrokes on a computer can erase vital/incriminating information and data.
Mr. Security Guy then walks the guy to the car and says, “buh bye”.
Paperwork is dealt with the next day, usually.
