It’s game over for Monopoly’s iconic thimble token.
Hasbro, Inc. announced the classic game piece will not be part of an updated version of the board game.
In January, the company launched a worldwide vote, asking fans to pick eight tokens to be included in the next generation of the game. Fans were allowed to choose from more than 50 game pieces, including current and new tokens. Some of the new options included a rubber duck, a bunny slipper and an emoji.

My guess is millennials don’t know what a thimble is.
Probably about as many that know what a conservatory is, which has been removed from the game "Clue."

Liberals should ban Monopoly. Making new pieces won’t get the younger crowd’s noses out of their phones to play to play a board game.

They should rename BOARDWALK “TRUMP AVENUE” and all the Hotel pieces should be stamped TRUMP in gold lettering.

We joke that one of the reasons I married my wife 33 years ago was because she owned a wooden-piece Risk game. Wooden piece sets were a bit of a collectors item even then, as they’d converted to plastic game pieces at least a decade previous.
Just modify the thimble casting to make it a condom.
