here’s a clue:
we elected a PRESIDENT. one man to do the job.
we did not elect him and his wife. we expect him to be able to do the job without her holding his hand.
as for Melania and her life as first lady... that’s entirely up to her.
BTW, this is the 21st century. it is not uncommon for people to work in one location and fly home on the weekends. it’s actually been very common for more then twenty years (i did it for a number of years in the 90s and again in the early 2000s)
John and Abigail Adams come to mind...and probably many wives who ran farms, households, etc while their husbands built the country.
