Some Democrats prepare to withhold paying federal taxes in potentially the biggest tax boycott since the Vietnam War, according to a report from The Guardian. The National War Tax Resistance Coordinating Committee (NWTRCC), which campaigns for federal tax boycotts, says there has renewed interest in war tax resistance following Trumps inauguration, with the websites traffic doubling in the past month.
Something has clicked in the minds of thousands of people across the country
we dont want to pay for Trumps agenda! While many of the reasons people are fed upextreme militarism, mass incarceration, police brutality, and mass deportationsare part of the foundation of our country, it is exciting to see many new people contacting NWTRCC and wanting to organize in their communities, the website reads.

“”Democrats work and owe taxes””
I thought I corrected this but I don’t see it posted...
It was meant to be a question - democrats work and owe taxes?????
I’m okay with that. Deport illegals and prosecute far left tax evaders. Only real Americans will be left to vote.
Al Sharpton still owes millions in unpaid taxes to the Treasury Dept. ....Why is he being permitted to slide instead of being prosecuted and having assets seized?
What a great idea. All Democrat politicians should file a W-4 claiming 20 exemptions, and then refuse to file an Income Tax Return this April.

I worked at a major defense contractor. One day, four men in dark suits walked up the aisle and went into the dept. across from mine. ...A few minutes later they emerged with a husband and wife who both worked there and both were in handcuffs.
Turns out that for a couple of years they had been claiming about a dozen dependent exemptions and were going to prison.
I’m starting to think that too much good news is twisting my face into a permanent stupid looking grin.
You are wrong and do not understand how it works. The IRS receives from employers your wage info and it receives dividend and interest info from banking institutions but it (IRS) has no idea what your deductions are until you actually file a tax return.
I do taxes for my daughter and last year she had a combined income from wages, dividends, capital gains of just over $62,000 and yet she owed nothing and in fact qualified for a small refund.
In this case had she chosen NOT to file she would have NOT broken any laws.
Again. if there are NO taxes due you do not have to file a return.
