... Trump needs to get way in front of this thing and announce that he is setting up a Special Investigative Commission to look into Russian intelligence influence upon the entire American political community including the Democrat Party. And that he looks forward to and welcomes the outcome of the findings.
..... The Left would go ballistic because they would know very well what side the Russian Influence is favoring.

I still think Trump should have kept him on board.

I would think it would be easy to trace back.
Who has the access? It would be a short list.
Once done then arrest or at least fire all involved.
