How about a compromise of those young folks needing to be in school, college or trade school, to be eligible? Kinda hard to pay for insurance while also going to school and paying for that.
First, very few youngsters in their 20's care about health insurance. They think they will live forever.
Secondly, how many are actually paying for their college education? They're either on their parents' dime or scholarships or student loans or affirmative action, while colleges indoctrinate them into the marxist agenda.
I would be willing to work with those who attend trade school or limited their colleges courses to subjects that work in the real world. 25 years old and living in Mom's basement or sucking off the taxpayers doesn't work for me.
Pre-existing conditions is not insurance. I still can't believe the insurance companies supported Obamacarefail because they would get millions more in quantity. And what has happened? They pull out of Obambicare almost every month because of the higher costs of additional patients. Every insurance CEO who bought into that coming fiasco should be fired. I only owned 3 small businesses and saw they would lose money.
Then there is the average taxpayer who has experienced huge increases in their premiums, not to mention deductibles. Yeah, I know, the whole thing was designed to fail to be replaced by single-payer. You think the insurance companies thought about that? And what about all the Doctors who have retired, the closed Hospitals and on?
No matter where you stand on Obamacare, it has been an epic failure. But that's what you get with Fedgov solutions. Free markets are the only solution.
