I’m not doing somber. I’m celebrating each one of these earth shattering victories. Like the repeal of Dodd-Frank. That pos has been a boot on the throat of business in this country for years. Getting rid of it has enormous implications.
I’m still game for the next battle, don’t worry.
Not sure this is a good thing. More _money-from-thin-air_ and empowering of the largest debt creators; less reserves required for them. More money from nothing. More debt.
I have a friend who closed a small but profitable bank two years ago because Dodd Frank made the sale of the bank tons of regulations for such a small bank, nearly impossible. This was a small regional bank in a small town for over 100 years. Sad.
Sometimes progress comes too late.
