Yes and yes.
They are pure evil.
This guy is being ripped a new a$$hole by 1st year law students for his absolute stupidity on the LAW. I’m wondering how he could ever show his face in an academic environment again.
We didn't really think that the uniparty was going to remain passive while Trump executed the will of his constituents, did we?
Yet I seem to remember that they were involved in the policy that resulted in banks being forced to lend money for mortgages to folks that could not afford them.
Thanks for the reply.
In the bit of reading that I’ve done, it seems reasonable to re-instate (if that is the term) Glass-Steagall. Any opinion on that?
They don’t belong and government they belong in prison.
It goes much much deeper than simply debt it was the most sweeping regulation of private banks forcing many out of business up to the point of nationalizing the banks. It costs Billions every year across the financial industry with onerous regulatory overhead that I doubt the government monitors a tenth of what they passed.
It was control plain and simple like the majority of what they pass
I thought Dodd-Frank was supposed to help all the little people who were scrxxed out of their homes by the banksters.

Well for one thing, its made my life a complete living hell.
Ours, too. We lost about $50K in home value — never truly recovered. Had to move back into a house we hated to sell it. Would have been nice to have had that money back.
And we got off easy compared to so many others.
Is this Dodd Frank crap what authorized Edward Jones to double it’s fees and centralize the decision making of my portfolio to a higher HQ?
Like the Affordable Care Act made healthcare insurance more affordable?
That’s some good news! :)
Huff post is a fake leftist news source, why even bother with it?
Thanks! I like that.
Believe that to be the community re-investment act...or some such.
Regardless, those responsible were never held to account and taxpayers got the bill.
I had to look for a news source on this story in answer to a question from a freeper which explained what part of the Dodd Frank bill was being repealed and that was all I could find at the time.
