When Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited the White House on Monday for the first time since President Trump's inauguration, Ivanka Trump sat in on a women's business initiative discussion.
Businesswoman Ivanka Trump has been an outspoken advocate of women in the workplace, and posted an image from the White House after attending the meeting with her father and Trudeau.
"A great discussion with two world leaders about the importance of women having a seat at the table!" the Trump daughter tweeted with the picture.
Some objected to the picture, saying Ivanka Trump was using the Oval Office as a "prop."

Civilians have sat at the Oval Office desk before, though, and others were quick to back up the first family member.

President Trump and his administration stepped in last week when Nordstrom decided to drop Ivanka Trump's fashion line -- prompting an ethical dilemma after White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway promoted the brand during a TV interview.
It’s not the oval office. I think it’s one of the conference rooms in the west wing. It’s Beyonce in the yellow and her hubby Jay Z at the head of the table. The rest I assume are their entourage or posse as it were.
Better a class act like Ivanka than a crass act like Hitlery!
That is Obama making a statement about all the white men that sat there before him.
