Last night, the Grammy Awards got political from the very start and celebrities like James Corden, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, and Busta Rhymes decided to use the award show as an opportunity to lecture Americans about politics.
However, there was one moment that made headlines that had nothing to do with politics.
Check out what Chance the Rapper did during his acceptance speech that resonated with millions of Americans.
From Townhall:
Chance the Rapper had quite the Sunday night. He won three Grammysfor Best New Artist, Best Rap Album for his album Coloring Book, and Best Rap Performance for his song No Problem. And in a refreshing change of pace during a night full of various political screeds, all he wanted to do was praise the Lord. During his acceptance speech for Best New Artist, Chance the Rapper spoke openly about his faith and his thankfulness for Gods blessings. Good stuff.

Its not every day we see celebrities wearing their faith on their sleeve like that.
A very nice change of pace.
>”Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.” - Matthew 10:32-33
All the more reason to get the words from the source. Quotes won’t do it, nor will quotes of quotes.
The big, bad and the pretty needs to lay it down and solid.
Nothing else will do.
Yeesh.
Pitiful.
Hilarious scene.
Epic movie.
:)
A new bard!
Good for him! Every Christian should be standing up for the Lord like this. Pray without ceasing.
Well that’s not good. I’ve noticed a lot of people say they’re Christian, then you see stuff like this about them. I will say, though, I’ve been a Christian for a long time, and I’ve screwed up plenty of times. Thank God for forgiveness. I will also say that I’m sure all of you know people who have struggled to live a Christian life, but eventually, they get it right. Everyone sins. Everyone. The important thing is to repent and receive forgiveness. Then get back out there. There’s only one unforgivable sin -— unbelief. Thank God He has patience with us.
