The kinds of tattoos in that picture look like they were done with an improvised gun and ink. Those are the kind of tattoos you don’t see in America on people under 50.

My guess is that MS-13 members give each other homemade tattoos with a ballpoint pen and sewing needle.

A girl that I work with, has a very nice tattoo (I think they call them sleeve tattoos) of computer games with very vivid colors. We are talking about 80’s to 90’s computer games.... Pac Man, QBert, Donkey Kong etc... It was very well done and I was impressed. She had to be still a newborn when all of these games were popular. She heard the ringtone on my phone (Galaga) and knew it right away! She also served our country in the military. A very decent American! I have always not been a big fan of tattoos.... That has to be the first one that I ever liked, besides the ones that say “Mom”

It’s more sophisticated than that, even though that will work. Not with ball point pen ink though.

Get a cassette player and you can make an electronic repeating motor with a needle of some sort attached.

Ink can be made out of various items found in prisons/jails.
