Actually the only time you heard from Ditko is when Stan Lie would tell some reporter that he created all the marvel comics characters.
Ditko would call the paper and tell the true story.
Ditko created the Dr. Strange and Spider-man characters and villians.
There was an article about someone who tracked him down.
