Some folks think Cory Booker is a bright star in their party.

But, I cannot see Booker going anywhere. He abandoned all signs of any moderate tendencies when he attacked Jeff Sessions during the Senate questioning of the AG candidate; and second, he shows no backbone on any issues - but rather he capitulates to the current trends.

The Democrat Party has always been the party of the here and now - which is why it appeals to the unserious population: college students in social sciences; artists, non-religious, ignorant of American and world history, etc.

Appeal to them with the social media - which is why conservatives need to get with it and utilize these new outlets for our philosophy of governance.

I met Booker personally at a fundraiser for a dear friend and colleague. She is a lib but was running for office in Newark so I didn’t see the harm in helping her out. It’s not like the GOP was going to take her seat. Anyway, Booker and I wound up chatting for 20 minutes or so. I found him to be extremely personable, well spoken, and intelligent. He was also very funny. He will be a formidable opponent since the lobs don’t care about honesty or accomplishments. They are all about the cult of personality and Booker has a powerful persona.
