He knows how to fight liberals and win.

That is one of the things we like most about President Trump. GWB was focused on terrorism and never successfully stood up to the left to get rid of the millions of illegals in our country. Rubio, Jeb, and the rest of the GOP establishment would have invited even more illegals. Patriotic voters were not impressed. Trump showed how to do it, and no one learned from him except his voters.

GWB’s focus was globalism, not terrorism.

Anyone whose focus was terrorism wouldn’t be carrying on an open love affair with the Wahabbis.

I for one, do not advocate following any of Alinsky’s rules. If we align with one or more in the process of doing what is right, I don’t have a problem with that.

Having read that vile book, though, makes me wary of using any part of it deliberately. I found it to be both amoral and immoral in various parts.

That said, I did support President Bush in some key areas, but I was nearly apoplectic with his abject refusal to take on his detractors. He gave them free reign to take them down, and I thought he should have pointedly fought back.

Seeing Trump immediately tweeting out responses fills me with conviction that he is not going to fall into that trap and let the Left set the rules of engagement.
