The dam was built when Gov. Moonbeam's father was governor (Pat Brown)...although perhaps it was still under construction when Ronald Reagan replaced Pat Brown.

Of course the real tragedy would be if this disaster forced them to divert funds from Jerry Brown's high-speed train.
