I said yesterday, that residents downstream of the Oroville dam, should ignore all the assurances of the state officials, and get the hell out.

People who survived the 9/11 attacks on the WTC did just that, ignored the orders to stay at their desks.

Unfortuntely our culture seems to teach us to ignore our instincts. We need to listen to them. We also need to train how to deal with the fear response that comes with it and use it for our safety.
