The New England Historic Genealogical Society has looked into Warren’s Cherokee claims. They found a secondary source document saying that Warren’s great-great-great grandmother was a Cherokee.

That makes her, at best, 1/32 Cherokee. In other words, 3% Cherokee. That was enough for Warren to list herself as a minority Native American.

Why the Cherokees aren’t protesting this I don’t know.

I think they did and since it didn’t fit the desired liberal narrative their protest had no “news legs”.

What secondary source? The Cherokee Nation has very specific enrollment records , she is not there(family that is). Plus her grandmothers marriage certificate and census information says she was white. Those are definitive.

If Liewatha wants to prove otherwise take a DNA test
