No, I didn’t - thanks! Many illegals don’t pay taxes (paid under the table) or do but get $s back for EI tax credit for kids that may not even live here, plus the added expense of schools (additional teachers b/c they don’t speak English), free health care and other benefits that they aren’t supposed to get, but I’ve read they do - welfare, EBT, housing, etc. Dollars are YUGE to the taxpayer - could easily build the wall and pay for it.
As I understand it, it’s different with the refugees (someone please correct me if my understanding is incorrect), they automatically get all types of benefits and a path to citizenship. Lots of $$s to taxpayers.
The worst kids in the school here are in the ESL class. Ooh, talk about AtTiTuDeS! They speak English just fine but are place in there because of their illegal status. Instead of getting help with their homework, they go outside for recess. Waste of tax dollars. Definitely a waste of a good American education.
