With congress in full recess isn’t it time for the President to roll out recess appointments for his cabinet and Supreme nominees ?
Could be, but I believe recess appointments expire at the end of their next Session. Maybe they can find a
work-around.......
Technically they aren’t in a recess (having pro-forma sessions).
At some point they will probably recess and allow Trump to fill hundreds of lower-level positions.
Those appointments must still be approved by the Senate or they expire with the session (about the end of 2018).
