I’m a Catholic but I am not fond of this Pope (hate to say that). He needs to watch over the Vatican and the Catholic church and stay out of the issues of the USA. I miss Pope John Paul II.
I agree and Trump said the same in many of his rallies.

While I have no real exposure to fashion design, I have worked in textiles and apparel for decades and have a fine art degree. Whoever was responsible for what Melania Trump is wearing has a rare genius. It looks so restrained and traditional, but then you get into the angles of the cut, the way the jacket drapes, the collar, it’s like fine origami. While it’s not nearly such an immediate “wow” as that pale blue Ralph Lauren outfit for the inauguration, there’s a lot of interesting things going on with this one, subtle at first glance but very interesting. It flatters her, too, not that it would be easy to be unflattering.

Had to laugh at Rush he was complaining about all the excitement at the WH that is scheduled at his time. Said well at least today he could record and watch later. (And watch during commercials)

Gosh, I would give so much to be there! My parents lived in Melbourne for around 10 years.
Isn’t that the truth!! Trump is a businessman, comfortable in his skin and knows his values and what the heck he’s talking about, so he gives short, crisp, concise answers.
Barack, OTOH, didn’t have a clue, so he droned on and on using a lot of words trying to make people think he was intelligent.
That’s AWESOME! I hope you can go as I’m sure you’ll have a great time! Watch out for the idiot rioters (hopefully, all will be outside and corralled some blocks away).
I knew I liked it but you did a great job of describing the design and cut and make me want to go back and look again for what you described - thank you! When I initially looked at it when they were outside, I noticed the collar, the inlaid “belt” and buttons, which made it look a bit like a military jacket - I read recently that the “military” look is in now (remember coat that Kellyanne wore to the inauguration).
My only concern is that they may try to block the street access to the Airport.
I'll get their earlier than usual.
Taking two very traditional concepts, combining them and coming up with something entirely new that even evokes other concepts in a positive way does not come easily, in any design field. Pretty sophisticated. Somebody has more than just a good eye. Melania certainly does for choosing it. Wonder if she had any hand in it? She does at times, I’ve understood. Going to have to see who’s behind it now, no time today, maybe tonight.
