Texas Sen. Ted Cruz earned the praise of some fierce Democratic detractors this week when he opted to stop at a Fort Worth demonstration and talk to those protesting.
The group of about a dozen individuals toting signs critical of Donald Trumps education secretary nominee caught Cruzs attention as he made his way to catch a flight to D.C.
Local Democratic Party leader Leah Payne said she was surprised by the conservative senators willingness to interact personally with protesters.

Doughty One is an asset to this forum, I can see being upset with someone; but be proportional in one’s response.
Clearly, this past week, showed I may not agree with DO always; but he’s polite enough.
Cruz is acceptable somewhat to me but by the time, the Carolina primaries occurred, to much trickery, I won’t go into that, that’s over but it was a turn off.
