At present, from the roughly 2-million that entered over 2012-to-present....there are 150,000 who failed the visa-test and there’s expectations that another 250,000 to 300,000 will fail by the end of 2017. Part of the issue is fake IDs...in ability to validate who these people are...and some simply don’t have education/trade/craft to entice the Germans to take them.
To halt the maximum flow (2015, roughly one million entered)...the Germans convinced the EU to give Turkey’s Erdogan 3-billion Euro a year...to hold back the flow. They are currently working up a similar deal with Libya to also hold back the refugees.
Rather than just act like Australia and say ‘no’...they just want to seem nice and find costly methods to delay things, and finally pay some off.
Germans probably would be enticed to fire Merkel but then the question of who replaces her comes up....with big issues with most all other parties (most are pro-immigrant), and then the one anti-immigrant party....the AfD, who is rather new, immature, and the public generally questions their whole agenda. There are virtually no real options.
I read an article, early on in this debacle, that a lot of these invaders were illiterate. Why the Germans couldn't figure out that importing a population of people from a 6th century culture is not going to work well in a 21st century society.
Also, I believe they were having a problem getting these people to learn German; and, a lot of them did not want jobs even when they were offered one.
