Lena Dunham is the epitome of why 53% of white women voted for Trump.

Even more than 53% of white women did not vote for Clinton if you count the third party votes cast by white women.

And of course there is no accounting of how many white women simply stayed home rather than vote for Clinton or Trump. They might not have liked Trump but they did not like Clinton either and probably don’t like women like Dunham either.

Bottom line, Clinton (and Dunham and her ilk) do not appeal to a huge and important segment of women.

Clinton 43%

Trump 53%

That means that 6% of white women voters voted 3rd party. So overall 59% of white women did not vote for Clinton. This is huge and it's not talked about at all.

That is why we are hoping she will get busy and really involve herself in some of the upcoming Senate races in 2018. I think she can be a real asset. As she associates herself with all of her influence I am sure she will make a difference.
