I clicked the donation link and got a message saying my connection is not private.. I am using Chrome and have made donations before with no problems.
It is probably on my end. I am going to run my anti virus software.

Thank you very much, Kid Shelleen!! Actually, John tells me it's google Chrome itself. They've changed their system to give that warning message if everything on the base domain name is not served under the certificate, ie, all of our freerepublic.com domain including the forum. We run several servers on freerepublic.com but the only one that is on our secure certificate is secure.freerepublic.com (our secure server). Chrome doesn't like that but the other browsers do. If you click on the details given by Chrome you will see that later they admit it's a valid secure certificate (expiring next year). For example, try it on Edge if you have it. Edge reports it as a secure connection.
