I have had enough of cold, frigid wintery weather. Wouldn't move back to it no matter what the reason, including yours.
Since leaving the military, when one didn't have a choice of where you lived or were stationed, I have always lived where there is plenty of sunshine and heat. I hate snow and ice and frigid temperatures.
Never again. Life is too short.

Same for me. It’s going to break 80 here today in the Phoenix valley.

Some of us like the snow and cold. It’s fun. In the summer, I can barely move without becoming soaked in sweat.

Thank you for your service, which is sacrificial, especially potentially, and where go where it is deemed you are needed, if only for a short time (if you came back alive). I am sure you would have wanted to go to the Pacific theater in WW2 over Germany! But I am in a different service, seeking to make a difference among my "native tribes" for this life and the next, for this relatively short life is where souls decide whose side they will be on, and who they will be with for eternity. May all choose Jesus, and thus choose Life.

( Turn to the Lord Jesus as a damned and destitute sinner+ trust Him to save you, then follow Him!)
