Key Limes?
First, a ripe key lime is Pale YELLOW, pale green inside. Not quite as big as a ping-pong ball. These bags of key limes they sell in the grocery sometimes are small undeveloped marbles.
If you have real ripe key limes you can get 1/2 cup of juice from 5 limes. Just enough for a pie. My favorite pie.
They have a unique tartness much stronger than a Persian lime.
Had one in my yard in Miami. Very tropical tree. Don’t even mention the word F-R-O-S-T around one. Oh, the thorns on them are similar to the spurs on a fighting cock. Bad
