RUSH: New CBS poll shows that a majority of Democrats consider Christianity as violent as Islam. “Sixty-six percent of Democrats believe when it comes to other religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Mormonism, et al, they are responsible for just as much violence as Islam. Only 14 percent believe Islam is more violent, which totals out to one out of seven Democrats. Meanwhile, Republicans have few qualms with calling Islam a more violent religion than the others with a majority 63 percent.”
Now, Democrat is a regional party now. It is a regional political party. You ought to see a map of this. Stunning. It’s called vividmaps.com. We’ve already posted them at RushLimbaugh.com. It’s literally parts of the Left Coast, parts of Texas, parts of Mississippi, south Florida, and then up the east coast and a little circle there in Chicago, and that’s it.
Something like 300,000 square miles of this country is Trump country. Now I’m getting them confused with the counties. It’s just massive. They are a regional party now and they’re located in liberal enclaves on the coasts. But this idea that Christians are more violent or as violent as Islam, where does that come from? Where do these Democrats hear that, do you think?
Here are the numbers. Trump land — areas of the country voted for Trump — three million square miles, which is 85%. The area of the country that voted for Hillary: 530 square miles or 15% of the country. When you go to counties, Trump carried 2,623 out of 3,112. That’s 84% of all counties Trump carried. Liberals live in their own fantasy world.
Ask leftists for a list of Christians who have been burning down mosques and telling Muslims, “Convert or die.”
And ask them to show you where the Bible allows forced “conversion” to Christianity. And remind them that the Koran mandates killing or enslaving those who practice other religions everywhere and at any time.
If it weren’t for those frisky Baptists shooting up gay nightclubs and those pesky Amish running people over with trucks, we Christians would be viewed as peaceful as our Muslim brothers.
Yeah, you gotta watch out for those Baptist stoning their wives and Catholics loping off heads.
You can’t even reason with such vacancy of reality and thought.
And with Judaism, you would have to go back, way back to Roman times, when the Maccabees revolted. I suspect history and world affairs are not their strong points.

This is one of the scariest things that I have ever read about the Democrat Party.
That is the problem. We have entered the post Truth age. If our opponent had a modicum of reason and intellectual honesty, we could have a conversation.

That was over ten years ago and it is far truer now than it was then.
