YES
The biggest obstacle to this is Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.)

More than enough to pay for an investigation of voter fraud.

If the libs want to keep PB alive, let them donate their money to pay for it, not our tax $’s!

Superfluous is right! I have over fifty channels on my TV packet. Why are the ones that I hardly ever watch being funded by the feds?

This is not about content, as CBP certainly airs some quality programs
Beyond maddening. Complete, utter Leftism on every program (music excepted of course). To deny this in the interest of appeasement will not work, and it is dishonest.
50 years has proved that govt should not fund media. 1)A partisan viewpoint is unavoidable 2)Media must be self-sustaining, otherwise, why wouldn't guv open any number of bussinesses.

Just keep repeating the 20 Trillion debt every time this type of bill is put forward.
BTW why isn’t the economy booming ala Nancy Pelousy’s spending formula?

YES! Make those arrogant liberal propagandizing a-holes sell extra tote-bags if they want to stay in business.
I don’t expect the US taxpayer to fund Free Republic or Breitbart, but I am sick and tired of being compelled at gunpoint to pay for the vile globalist bullshit that NPR spews forth 24/7.

“CPB received $445 million during Fiscal Year 2016, and this money could be put to better use rebuilding our military and enhancing our national security.
It could be better spent being BURNT rather than supporting the lifestyles of the leftist announcers, producers and hanger-ons.

Yep let’s defund “art”.
If some wacko wants to stick a crucifix in urine and call it art, he should do it on his own time and his own dime.

“Congressman Lamborn released the following statement following his introduction of two bills, H.R. 726 and H.R. 727, to defund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and National Public Radio (NPR).”
Good man. Now, let’s see if Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell let this go anywhere.

I don’t see this making it through the House let alone the Senate sorry to say.
To: Drango
Absolutely!
Along with non-stop BEGGING, they also have bunches of regular commercials on PBS.
No way should they be receiving government funds.
