I never drive when it snows or we have icy roads...but I live in Texas where snow is an “event”. Stay safe...
I will have to turn on the A/C this week...at least in the afternoon.
I have stayed up all night to watch it snow and catch the beauty before it melts. It is a beautiful sight...and a rare one where I live.
I don’t drive in snow around here either. I have an older car that is front-wheel drive, so it does OK; BUT there are so many very steep hills in the entire Seattle area. My sis has 4-wheel drive and if she goes slowly, she does OK.
We also get ice under the snow here, and that coupled with the hills, makes driving very treacherous. People often abandon their cars on the sides of the roads and walk b/c of the hills and ice.
It is somewhat of an “event” around here, too. We usually only get snow 1-2 times per year and often it’s not much and melts for the most part (except shaded areas) by noon. This snow looks like it’s going to last longer - all the inches of it on all the pine and other trees is just gorgeous.
My 2-legged nephew took my 4-legged German Shepherd nephew out to play in the snow last night - looks like they had a lot of fun :-)
